Cousins Week 2011 continued

When the rest of family came at the end of the week, there were so many activities going on.

Emily and Tyler are great race car drivers.
It's wonderful to have this much help in the kitchen.

Emily wants all flavors on her snowcone. Granddaddy makes the best!

Tyler loves getting to play with his daddy's old toys. These are GI Joe planes.

This was Noah's favorite activity. Can you tell by the big smile?

Emily loves crafts. She made some pretty necklaces.

The boys one one...

the girls on the other. The concrete became covered with beautiful, creative artwork. Good job Emily and Heather.

Stephen and Tyler called this "gorilla tennis". Great fun!

Good job, Tyler.

Isn't he so cute!

I wonder what they've been up to or what they want with those big smiles.
And always fishing.

Stephen caught the biggest.

What a great week.

Cousins Week 2011

When we arrived home from meeting to pick them up, they could choose from the new toys. They chose the play money and they went shopping at the grocery store Bendaroos were one of the toys they played with every day in some of the most interesting ways. Grandaddy's mustache.

Aunt Judy was leaving after spending the weekend at the house and attending a class reunion. Earlier that morning the kids had decided to "freak out Aunt Judy". They made a spider from Bendaroos and put on her chair.

Emily was so great with casting with her rod. She's going to be a great fisherman like her mom.
Granddaddy caught a fish and put it in the net. They eventually threw it back.

The new farm toys were a big hit. Tyler thought they were awesome and Carter wanted to play with them every day and take the farm animals with him to the old farm and go in from playing outside to play with the farm.

There was lots of sand and water at Lake Columbia to play in.

There was a mini water park in the back yard but the favorite was the Cannonball Splash.

So much creativity with Play Doh. Clean up outside is so easy.

They really enjoy playing with trucks in the sand.

The car wash and bike wash was a lot of fun and very wet.

These are the dress up clothes they each chose for this day.

Now they are spy agents looking for clues. And they found some. They never solved the mystery even with the magnifying glass, the binoculars and the spy glass.More in the next post.

Emily's 6th Birthday

Our Sweet Emily just turned 6. Can you believe it?

So many of her favortie people were there to sing happy birthday to her. She received an unbelievable number and variety of presents. Two nights she spent with me in the hotel.

One night as I was getting ready for bed, she was on the floor between the beds where I couldn't see her.

This is what she showed me she had been doing. She lined up her shoes and the shoes of the Fairies (she got for her birthday) beside the bed.

The she, her longtime friend, Stephanie and her new friends got into the bed.

The next morning they all got up and put on their shoes.

So cute and sweet!
