Cousins Week 2010

Joe and I enjoyed a great week with our very special grandchildren.
We did everything they wanted to.
Fishing was fun. This one was too big to fit in Tyler's bucket.

This one is just about the right size.
They are really good with their rod & reels. You better stand back.

We had lots of snacks-some inside and some out. This one was cookies fresh-baked in the shop kitchen.
They love to swing in the tree. With three, they had to take turns.

Aren't they cute. They are really good friends.

We walked up the road....

...and closed the gate.

If you feed the fish there, they will be there when you go fishing.

Carter started this and thought it was so funny.

Cooking inside...

...and outsideThere was a farm birthday party for 2 five year olds.

The parents enjoyed a little patio time before the week ended and they took them home.

Their last hug, kiss and good bye.

Tyler, Emily and Carter were so much fun! They played really well together; were able to get their own drink of water; took naps; went to bed easily; ate everything they saw.

Tyler read stories about witches for the first time; knows how to get along with Carter; loves to play in the dirt; is full of questions; and has a great imagination.

Emily is extremely sweet and kind; she was really brave with our dog; she missed her mom at times; she was really sweet with Carter; she's quiet; she 's really smart.

Carter did everything the others did and it took him 10x the effort to do it; he loves playing with cars and truck; he's brave about everything; he called "Mama" every time to get him out of the bed; he still gives hugs and kisses; he understands everything.

We love them very much. They're so special!
