First Grandparents Day

Note: This is Jennifer. I'm posting for Mom today because her computer is not working right now. She came to visit us this weekend and I wanted to post an update for her.

Grandmother drove up to Oklahoma City on Thursday night so that she could go to Emily's school bright and early Friday morning for Grandparents Day.

The cinnamon roll and coffee breakfast was before school - starting at 7:30am. Emily's Nanny and Pops also joined us for breakfast along with Madison and Mason and Aunt Pat.

After breakfast, Emily took Grandmother to her classroom to show off her desk and all her friends.

It was a fun morning and I think it was well worth the drive for Grandmother to attend her first Grandparents Day breakfast at school.

Fun on the farm Day 7 & 8

Jennifer and Mike came Saturday afternoon. The sprinkler was too fun to resist.

Carter loves to play with Tyler's computer. He knows the buttons to make the noise.

Emily enjoyed showing her Mommy and Daddy the things she played with in the "play" house.

We found a frog in the swimming pool this morning. Tyler wanted it.

Granddaddy gave Carter a ride in the bucket. They were big buddies.

They're all gone now. We had more fun!

They're doing good!

A few weeks ago I got to see Allen and children. Jill had come in from Delaware for a visit and they were all on their way to Magnolia. They were all doing good.

Bryan and Chris completed their second year of college and turned 21. They are looking for a summer job and making plans for next year. Bryan may be going to Savannah and Chris will probably never leave College Station/A&M.

Kerri is working on her Master's and working. Stephen has a project in his garage and still enjoys his work.

Jill still likes her job with the architectural firm and still hates the commute. Kyle is off flying in Afghanistan.

Keep doing good. We're proud of you!

Emily's 4th Birthday

We had so much fun at Emily's birthday. Jennifer's blog details it so well.

Emily's cake was so pretty! Emily had gone with Jennifer to pick out what she wanted. Good job!

Emily and everyone enjoyed the bowling. Madison was there to help and encourage Emily.

Tyler and Carter enjoyed the boat ride with their Daddy and Mama.

Aren't these the sweetest grandbabies you every saw?

Emily poses so sweetly with her Mama and Daddy.

My Sweet Jennifer.

What a fun, fun birthday weekend.
