Wonderful Weekend in OK City

Granddaddy and I had a wonderful time with the family.

We spent a lot of time outside. Emily played and played on the trampoline and swing set. Noah watched everything she did and thought a lot of it was so funny.
Jennifer and her beautiful children.

I made Noah cry when I kissed him soon after we arrived. But by the time we left he was looking for us when we left the room and smiling every time he saw us. We held those babies as much as possible.

Emily read me a book. She can read!

This is the second puzzle of the weekend that Emily, Granddaddy and I put together. Emily is going to have to finish it by herself. But I know she can; she's really good with puzzles.

Wish we didn't have to leave.

3 train builders.
Carter is already 3 years old. Can you believe it?His first bike.

They played for hours with the moon sand.

A fun weekend in Texas.

Snow

There has been so much snow this year.
And many days of being snowed in.
Heather and Stephen win the prize for the most.
20 inches in 8 hours!
This picture is out the front door. Snow up to Heather's knees.

This is how much snow 20 inches is.

The day ends and the temp drops to -7.

They will always remember the snowfall of 2011.

Fun Family

Heather and Stephen are marking places in the World Travels of the Sabo family.
They've already been so many places.

Carter thought it was funny wearing two pairs of Granddaddy's glasses.
This is the first time we've gone mudding on the farm. It was definitely a favorite.

Tyler and Carter put together this 10 ft. puzzle as I dressed. Carter loves puzzles.

Perfect weather for fishing. Tyler was at a disadvantage with crutches. We all had lots of fun.

Christmas/New Years

We had to wait till New Years for everyone to come for Christmas.
What fun to get to open our presents.
These are the before......this is what's left after.Heather and Stephen are trying to figure out what it is.Tyler did such a good job getting around with his broken leg. I think he got some toys that will work really well with limited activity.
Daniel and Stephen wowed us with a great fireworks show. Happy New Year!

Thanksgiving Week 2010

Tyler was promised a bonfire. Since we couldn't make it to Uncle Billy's, we had to make our own. Hot dogs and s'mores in the shop. Yum!
Carter surprised us all by getting in Noah's swing with his blanket. It was just too enticing.

Two tables end-to-end will seat everyone.
While I get dressed, they play in the bath tub and dry the shower.

Emily, Tyler, Carter, Landon and Stormy enjoyed the guns and hideout.

Uncle Robert and Aunt Peggy spent some time with us.
Stephen and his cousin, Justin killed a few ducks on their early morning hunt.
The guys took the girls varmint hunting.

We sure did enjoy showing Uncle Billy and Aunt Dean around our new place. Aunt Dean understands that we are trying to make a place for everyone to come.

More later...
